Ushbu maqola kasbiy faoliyat va aloqa sohasida terminologik kompetentsiyaning ahamiyatini, kasbiy mahoratning eng muhim ko’rsatkichi va neft va gaz sanoati mutaxassislarining kasbiy muloqot sifatini oshirish omili sifatida terminologik kompetentsiyani o’zlashtirish zarurligini asoslashga bag’ishlangan. Bundan tashqari, maqolada ingliz tilining professional terminologiyasi, xususan, hayvonlar nomlari, neft va gaz sanoatida qo’llaniladigan zoonimlar bilan bog’liq jargon so’zlari tahlil qilinadi. Maqolada zamonaviy adabiy manbalardan ko’plab misollar mavjud.
